How It Works
At GIVS (Guest Intern Volunteer Service), we make your journey from application to arrival smooth, transparent, and supportive. Our structured process ensures that every participant is fully prepared for a meaningful and rewarding experience in Nepal.
Step 1: Application
Submit your application directly through our official website. Choose your desired internship or volunteer program, and provide the necessary details to initiate your placement process.
Step 2: Deposit & Enrollment
Once your application is approved, a confirmation email will be sent with deposit and enrollment details. This step secures your placement in the selected program or project.
Step 3: Program Confirmation
After enrollment, you will receive a formal Program Confirmation Letter that includes details about your placement, project location, duration, and accommodation.
Step 4: Preparation
We will guide you through the pre-departure process, helping you prepare for your travel, orientation, and project. You will also receive a welcome package with essential program information and guidelines.
Step 5: Arrival
Upon arrival in Nepal, our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and assist with your transfer to the accommodation. You’ll then begin your program with an in-depth orientation about the culture, safety, and project expectations.
📄 Documents / Information Required
To complete your enrollment, please provide the following:
- Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs
- A copy of your valid passport
- Mention of any dietary restrictions or allergies (if applicable)
- Details of any medical conditions (if applicable)
🤝 Supervision & Assistance
At GIVS, your safety and professional growth are our top priorities.
- Interns receive continuous supervision and guidance from our experienced medical team and on-site supervisors.
- Our staff provides 24/7 support, including emergency assistance during your stay.
- An interpreter is available at the project location when required.
- Interns must carry their academic credentials, college ID, and personal essentials during their placement.
- We encourage all participants to stay in touch with our representatives via email or phone for regular feedback and support.
💸 Discounts for Teams & Groups
We value teamwork and collaboration. GIVS offers special group discounts for participants joining in batches:
- 5% discount for a group of 5 students
- 10% discount for a group of more than 5 students
Note: A “group” or “batch” refers to a minimum of five students applying together.
