About us

Guest Intern, volunteer service provides unpaid internship and volunteer programs for foreign medical students and non-medical candidates and medical professionals in the beautiful valley of Pokhara. Our team organizes internship and volunteer service in the field of your choice. Those interested in internships and volunteering can apply even if they are not in the medical field.

We welcome overseas students and professionals from a medical and non-medical background to successfully complete their program at an affordable cost.

Our primary focus is on providing a remarkable and meaningful experience for all the participants. An internship is a part of academic credentials at where young and energetic students get the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge into practice and thus enhance their career skills. We offer internship service in the selected hospital by the particular participant. The Interns would be constantly supervised by the experienced professionals in the hospital for easy understanding of the procedure and policies. The interns could approach the supervisor for any kind of internship or hospital related queries at any time during their duty.

We always strive to provide an efficient and effective work environment in order to achieve the fulfillment in the work of the participant.

We also organize volunteer programs for medical professionals/ non-students/students who want to provide not for profit service to the people of Nepal. Volunteering could be performed more independently as it does not require much supervision and guidance.

In addition, we also offer accommodation and transport facilities for the participants at a reasonable price.

The Internship and Volunteer program is to provide an experience that is mutually beneficial to the participant and the organization.

GIVS provides volunteer and internship program both in governmental and non- governmental organizations up on interest of the participant.

Guest Intern Volunteer Service avoids a wide range of unnecessary costs to provide our students the most affordable and best experience of program/project. Unlike other organizations, the program criteria mainly depend on the interest/schedule of the participant. Participant (Internship program) needs to submit the details regarding his/her program of interest/curriculum at least two months before the program date along with a letter of confirmation emailed from the university to the organization.

Our services are targeted at providing quality work in a safe environment. On of our staffs will be always attentive to the needs of the interns/volunteers throughout their session with GIVS in Nepal.

A sense of justice and a sense of fairness are the two main factors to which our organization adheres to.

The following are the core values that will guide the operations of GIVS.
