Our volunteer programs offer students a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful community projects while immersing themselves in Nepali life. Volunteers support ongoing initiatives that promote education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.

🏞️ 3. Cultural Exchange & Immersion
Beyond work and service, GIVS encourages cultural understanding through immersive experiences. Participants live with local host families, explore Nepal’s heritage sites, and engage in cultural workshops such as cooking, traditional dance, and language learning.

We also organize customized short-term projects, including:

FREE REGISTRATION: In contrast to other organizations GIVS offers the applicants to register free for their respective program/project.
ACCOMODATION:
Campaign/Outreach: The students/participants will be provided to accommodate in the home stay in remote areas. Otherwise, students could also stay in the nearby hotels. It requires transportation to reach the location. In the remaining cases the students/Participants will be offered to accommodate in the hotels. A combination of both home stay and hotels cannot be arranged. The students/participants are requested to inform about their interest of staying at least a month or two before the program date. The accurate sum covered for accommodation, food and transport, particularly depends on the type of hotel, type of food and also the distance covered.
MODE OF PAYMENT
Participants can make their program payment in two convenient installments:
- First Installment (30%) – Payable one month before the program via bank transfer to confirm your placement.
- Final Installment (70%) – Payable one week before arrival or before the program start date.
Note:
- Registration should be completed 2–3 months before the start of the program.
- Registration is completely free of charge.
- Registration will be automatically cancelled if the first installment is not received within one month of registration.
